Our Attorneys

Jason D. Herring is a lifelong resident of Lee County, with a commitment to his family, community and legal profession. He lives with Angelia, his wife of 16 years, and his three children (Bethanne, Laiken and Jack Barton) on a small horse ranch on the outskirts of town. Jason and his family are active members at Saltillo First United Methodist Church.

Jason obtained his law degree from the University of Mississippi and immediately opened his own practice, focusing on litigation. He has been a trial lawyer his entire career. He is passionate about all aspects of trial practice, with extensive knowledge of the rules of evidence, as well as criminal and civil procedure. He takes an active role in civic and professional organizations, and was named a finalist in the 2004 Best of the Best for Northeast Mississippi in the Daily Journal's Readers' Choice Awards.

Henderson M. Jones was raised in Pontotoc and lives with his wife, Rebecca, near downtown Tupelo.

Henderson joined the firm in July 2008, focusing immediately on litigation. He graduated from Pontotoc High School in 1998 and enrolled at Duke University in the Fall of 1998. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke in 2002 and then returned to North Mississippi to attend law school at the University of Mississippi School of Law where he obtained a Juris Doctorate in 2005.

Henderson served as the law clerk for the 15th Circuit Court District (Lamar, Pearl River, Marion, Jefferson Davis and Lawrence counties) for Judges R. I. Prichard, III, and Michael R. Eubanks (retired) upon graduation from law school. After his clerkship ended, Henderson worked for a private law firm focusing on insurance defense litigation.

Henderson is admitted to practice in all state and local courts in Mississippi, as well as the federal district court for the Northern District of Mississippi.
